An original mixed-media collage watercolor on paper by artist Emanuel Glicenstein Romano (1897-1984). Signed, "E. Romano" in lower corner. This work has been recently been matted and framed in ivory wood and Plexiglas. ready to hang. Painted image measures 30" x 13" Romano created a series of allegorical works depicting graphic holocaust images that were held closely by the family after his passing. One of these works is in the Florida Holocaust Museum in St. Petersburg Florida. Romano has paintings in the Indianapolis Museum of Art, Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Boston Fine Arts Museum, the Fogg Museum and the Musée Nacional de France.
